Skippy’s egg store is making sure fresh eggs are always a part of Petaluma. Run by Petaluma Farms, the retail store sells to restaurants and the public.

Several varieties of eggs are sold at the store, including “super eggs” from chickens given feed with extra vitamins and minerals, including omega-3, vitamin D, lutein, B12, zinc and folate.

In a few months, they plan to open an egg history museum open at the store. Owners Judy and Steve Marhrt and their family have been collecting egg-related things for the past 100 years. The museum will show how the egg business has progressed over time.
