Revive Kombucha Gets Big Investment from Peet’s Coffee

Peet’s Coffee bought a majority stake in Petaluma’s Revive Kombucha. The Emeryville-based coffee was the lead investor in a $7.5 million financing round for Revive in 2017 with other investors, including Blair Kellison of Traditional Medicinals Inc. of Rohnert Park.

Revive Kombucha founders Sean and Rebekah Lovett will maintain an equity stake and leadership roles in the company. The kombucha brand had a 168 percent growth in sales over the past year.
