Petaluma radio station KPCA will now broadcast its programming over the air waves full-time.

The station started last year by broadcasting over the Internet and then sharing the 103.3 FM signal with broadcasters in Napa and Sonoma. The shared arrangement meant that the Petaluma station could only air two days per week.

Now the Petaluma radio station has the OK from federal regulators to broadcast 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

KPCA is looking for community members who would like to try their hand at broadcasting. Those who have an idea for a show can visit to learn more.
