The Bus Shoppe is a mobile boutique that makes the rounds at local festivals and events.
Melanie Dado-Stammler converted a 25-foot school bus into a fashion treasure trove loaded with her designs. A fourth-generation Petaluma resident, she also repurposes and upcycles found items and semi-precious stones into handmade jewelry.
Upcoming stops for the Bus Shoppe include the Petaluma Music Festival in August and and The Railroad Square Music Festival in Santa Rosa in June. She also regularly appears at San Francisco’s Treasure Island Flea market and to Oakland’s Jack of All Trades Market.
“My bus adventure allows me the mix of everything I love,” says Dado-Stammler. “Festivals, live music, warm weather, great food, fashion and photography. I’m in heaven.”
