After success with his food truck, Glen “Gator” Thompson has opened Chef Gator’s Rustic Burger. This Creole and Cajun restaurant features a variety of foods in addition to his signature burgers.

Thompson spent his formative years in Bayou Pigeon, Louisiana. So the menu includes favorites from home like  sausage jambalaya, shrimp and grits, crawfish étouffée and catfish po’ boys.

Many dishes are available in smaller portions, for those who want to try out new flavors and cuisines. But in addition to Southern food, Gator’s specialty is Southern hospitality.
