Working out of a garage in a quiet east Petaluma neighborhood, Chris O’Brien is helping governments and businesses sift through vast amounts of data. With a partner he runs BROB Analytics. From helping a business find the perfect location to helping nations deal with the impacts of climate change, the company has clients in the defense contracting industry as well as the private sector.

“I know how different organizations interact,” O’Brien says. “Bringing them together in one cohesive unit is something that we can do. We can make plans for various emergencies and then streamline it and make a much larger environment of awareness.”

Besides O’Brien and his partner Jason Brown, who have been friends since childhood, the company has one other employee, Daniel Giggy, a geospatial science and resource management expert.
