Petaluma’s Revive Kombucha is getting an investment from Peet’s Coffee and Tea that will allow the Petaluma company to ramp up operations and distribution.

Peet’s is the primary backer in the $7.5 million financing round with other investors including Blair Kellison, CEO of Traditional Medicinals. Revive owners still maintain majority ownership.

Revive was started by a local couple seven years ago. They began by selling their product at the Santa Rosa farmers market and now employ 50 people and distribute in 48 states.
