Petaluma River Perfect for Rowers of All Ages

Rowing on the Petaluma River is something for people of all ages. With several rowing clubs, camps and classes, there’s a way to enjoy the river no matter what your skill level is.

River Town Racers is a club that teaches adults and kids 11 and up how to race fast boats and organizes trips to local and national regattas. North Bay Rowing Club also has a middle school Learn to Row program as well as a 46-member Juniors competitive team.

Outrigger canoe club He’e Nalu enjoys summertime Wednesday night races in the turning basin, hosted by Petaluma SUP. Lokahi, an outrigger canoe club founded 24 years ago involves younger kids as well as more advanced paddlers.
