The Petaluma Radio Players are putting on performances in the newly refurbished ballroom of The Petaluma Hotel.

The actors, writers and theater artists  in the group devote themselves to the “nearly forgotten craft of classic live radio,” with shows along the lines of “The Shadow” radio dramas from the 1930s.

Their latest show — called “Slay Bells Ring (Are You Listening?) — consists of four short pieces. All four plays will be recorded live and broadcast sometime in the future on KPCA.

“We present theatrical productions intended more for the ear than the eye, but sometimes we put them on stage and invite people to come in and watch,” says Ralph Scott, producer and founding member of the Petaluma Radio Players.

You can come and watch the show December 8 and 9 at Hotel Petaluma.
